Just Bcuz Music Rocks out Rogersville 4th of July Celebration!

Just Bcuz Music is a young trio of musicians from a small town outside of Rogersville, TN. Don’t let that their young ages fool you, a news release says, adding that the group’s sound and stage presence are “Well beyond their years.” The first time I saw these aspiring rock stars was on the Rose Center stage at the annual Morristown’s Got Talent competition. They really made an impression on me back then, and I was so excited when the band’s manager (and mom!) called me to photograph their 4th of July performance.

The band performs all types of music—originals and covers, country to rock, 1950s to present. All three are A and B students, range in age from 12 to 16, and are finding balance for school and their love of music.
The group is led by Allison Rockwell, age 15, lead singer, rhythm guitarist, and songwriter. You know what they say; big things come in small packages, and this young lady packs a punch with her amazing stage presence.

Allison tunes up before they play. I asked her if she was nervous and she told me ‘Nope. Mom is more nervous, we are just excited to do our thing!’

Like most people who are busy doing what they love (and doing it well!) Allison’s best accessory on stage is her permanent smile. She really knows how to communicate with a crowd.

Playing guitar while singing or not-Allison really knows how to belt out those strong vocal parts! So impressive!

Introducing Hayden Garber, age 16. Hayden is Allison’s best friend and it shows. They interact with each other so well on stage!

You can really tell he feels the music while he plays it! Hayden was getting into it in this photo.

Last but not least: on bass, banjo and 12 string guitar this is ‘little man’ Jaden Rockwell! It is so amazing to see such a young man so committed to his passion for music! With all this family talent, these kids have a bright future ahead for sure.untitled shoot-125

He wouldn’t be a Rockwell without that awesome smile on his face while he plays to heat’s content!untitled shoot-318

There is one more person who is a part of Just Bcuz Music who deserves mention as well as some awesome photos!
Amber Rockwell. Mother of Allison & Jaden, manager of the band and the best personal cheerleader and organizer these kids could ask for.

Yes Ma’am. That is one proud mama!
